Feir Mill in Omemee Ontario

Tucked away in a remote corner of the Kawarthas - the wetlands of Ontario - is the enormous garden of internationally renown garden structure designer, Anne Roberts.

Anne's fantastic garden, located on the historic site, Feir Mill, is embellished with a summerhouse, several pavilions, willow wattle fences, rustic chairs, an ornate vegetable garden surrounded by cascading willow arches and pillars that seem to touch the clouds. In addition, bizarre architectural elements dance in massive fields ... and a raging river passes a spirit house ... it is truly breathtaking.

Interestingly, all the materials for her creations, such as eastern white cedar, hop horn beam and bog willow, come from her property.

What an inspiration!
