Pembroke Cactus Garden

Pembroke is in zone 4 so we are somewhat limited in what we can grow. For that reason, I concentrated on the structure or "bones" of the garden so that there is interest even if nothing is growing at the time. (About 50 pick-up loads of granite fieldstone).


I had to make the yard functional because of the pool and my 2 children. (wife's orders) We do a lot of entertaining in the backyard.

I also have what is probably the only cactus garden in Renfrew County. Being beside the pool, it eats beachballs like crazy!
