Hello, my name is Susan and I live in Toronto, Ontario. Gardening is a hobby enjoyed throughout a lifetime, and landscaping your property is similar to interior decorating. Each garden and improvement increases the beauty of your exterior decorating project. My site is devoted to beginners.Hopefully some of my experiences can assist with your gardening projects.

The above pictures include my incredible perennial cactus, which has survived three cold winters in Toronto, Ontario. My neighbour gave me a small cutting and last year this wonderful plant bloomed. The Fernleaf Peony is a plant I enjoy each year as the delicate foliage combined with the double red bloom is just exquisite. My Amazon Celosia grew ten feet tall last year. This is quite amazing as in August the plant was approximately a foot high. The picture shown was taken on October 4, 2002 and the plants were just slightly under ten feet. Our summer was hot and dry, the full sun garden with plenty of nutrients provided stunning results.
